The following sessions are outlined in order based on an increasing level of expertise and experience with deferred and planned gifts. Clients are welcome to schedule sessions based on their background. Each session includes the approximate time needed for the presentation and discussion. Ideally, clients should learn the core principles and then practice them. BOARD TRAINING SEMINARS
The following organizational and governance sessions include the approximate time needed for the presentation and discussion. In addition, any topic can be extended into a more detailed engagement around specific areas of interest. For example, outlining the steps to a strategic planning process can be extended into the actual planning and implementation of a strategic vision. STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS
The Carmello-Harper Group (CHG) uses a functional approach to strategic planning. This model is primary taught by business schools as a proven and disciplined approach in aligning mission with strategy. The process generally takes from three to five months depending on the institution’s size, staff and level of external stakeholders.
